I still like dressing in nude colours. Only now I say I dress in “oatmeal colours” - I am so very tired of the word nude now. It has become such a cliché to say that you “pair a nude outfit with a black leather shoes (or something rather) to roughen it up” that is makes me cringe. I would in fact not have been surprised if someone told me that the four letters forming the word N – U – D – E is on the top five list of most commonly used words in any fashion magazine or blog for 2009. So here’s to oatmeal and the wonderful colour – whatever you may refer to it as!
